Overview

Having successfully used Ecoblend® MA during Phase One, our client opted for Ecoblend CA for this stage, to meet the evolving requirements of the project. The works involved forming new access roads and associated infrastructure, with Ecoblend CA chosen for its proven strength, cost efficiency, and ready availability.

Project Scope

This phase of the project required the construction
of adoptable road sub-bases across the 81,000m2
development. This was a time-sensitive project, and
required a consistent, reliable supply of material to
succeed.

Material Requirements

We supplied 6,339 tonnes of Ecoblend CA Type 1 from our
Newhaven depot, chosen due to its:

  • Ready availability

Outcome

The client was highly satisfied with the performance of Ecoblend CA, noting its ease of handling and compaction. Building on the success of Phase One with Ecoblend MA, this phase further demonstrated the suitability of sustainable materials within a time‑sensitive residential development.

Consistent quality and reliable availability helped maintain programme momentum, supporting efficient delivery and reinforcing confidence in lower‑impact construction solutions for future phases of the scheme.
