Overview
During this Residential Development, Ecoblend® was utilised to deliver cost-effective, high-performance road construction, while reducing environmental impact. Supplied from our Brentford depot, the material enabled improved spread rates, reduced primary aggregate use, and aligned with the client’s environmental priorities.
Project Scope
The project required the construction of new
road infrastructure to serve a large-scale housing
development. Works were delivered over an 11-month
period for the transport infrastructure element, with
housing construction scheduled to continue over a 10-
year time-frame.
Material Requirements
We supplied 3,075 tonnes of Ecoblend CA 6F4 and 1,972 tonnes of MA Type 1, laid to a depth of 300mm. Ecoblend® was chosen due to its:
