Travis Perkins Recognised with Environmental Award for Ecoblend® Initiative

Travis Perkins has been awarded the Merchant Environmental Initiative of the Year Award at the Builders Merchants Journal Industry Awards 2026 for its Ecoblend® recycled aggregate scheme, supplied by Day Aggregates. 

The award recognises the success of the initiative, which has helped increase the availability of sustainable recycled aggregates across builders’ merchant branches throughout the South of England. 

In partnership with Day Aggregates, the Ecoblend® scheme has enabled Travis Perkins customers to access high-quality recycled aggregate products that support the circular economy and contribute to more sustainable construction practices. 

The recognition from the Builders Merchants Journal highlights the growing importance of sustainable material solutions within the construction supply chain and demonstrates how collaboration between merchants and suppliers can help deliver meaningful environmental benefits across the sector.
